What to do in Santa Clara, August 2017
There is a ton to do in Santa Clara in the month of August. For all you football fans, the 49ers kick off their pre-season games at Levi’s Stadium at the end of the month. The annual tradition continues with the Santa Clara street dance in Franklin Square on August 4th featuring the Houserockers. This event is fun for all ages and a chance to pull a Lionel Richie and dance in the streets! If you need a break from the heat, Triton Museum of Art has three new exhibits opening this month. Stop in and check them out for an enriching cultural experience.
SUMMER TIME IS HERE and so are the summer time concerts in Central Park. Bring a picnic blanket some chairs and food and enjoy some music in the park all summer long. If you haven’t visited the farmers market, seriously what are you waiting for? Vendors will have an abundance of fruits and vegetables in season that I guarantee you will enjoy. Take the family and have some lunch on the lawn at Franklin Mall while listening to some tunes. The food booths at the farmers market are amazing!! I hope whatever you do this month in Santa Clara, you have fun doing it.
