May was another busy month.  This was the month all the closings occured after the government home buyer tax credit so high sales should be expectged.  Out of the 70 sales, 9 homes were REO and bank owned and 7 were successful closed short sales.  A total of 16 distressed sales out of 70 almost making up 25% which has been higher than previous months.  This number should come down as there are less and less of bank owned and short sale listings.  Sales are slowing down and inventory is picking up, so expect the market to soften a bit.
